The Wild Rabbit is a re-invention of the traditional English inn – a place to eat, drink and sleep. Situated in Kingham The Wild Rabbit serve locally sourced, seasonal food in a relaxed and welcoming setting.

This 18th century traditional English pub and restaurant was renovated in 2013 and offers a very warm atmosphere with several open fire places and hand-craft furniture. There are 2 nice terraces, at the back and at the front, ideal for a drink, lunch or diner. The food is delicious and is most of the time produce locally.

Located in Milton-under-Wychwood, The Hare is only a 5 minutes drive or even a 20 minutes bikes ride away to get to this traditional country pub.

The Hare is open daily, offering everything from a pint of well-kept cask ale through to a delicious three course dinner. If you are visiting on a Friday you may even catch the Champagne Happy Hour at 5pm.

In the scenic and historic village of Nether Westcote, about 15 minutes from Bruern Cottages, you will find the Feathered Nest, a fantastic Gastro-Pub.

The owners converted this Malthouse a few years ago into a very pleasant pub with a beautiful panoramic view over the Evenlode Valley from the terrace.

The building has kept its original beauty and it is the perfect place for an al fesco lunch or dinner.

This quintessentially English country pub in Oddington is only a short drive from Bruern Cottages.

Huffkins is an independent family business that is now 125 years old. They are craft bakers with tea rooms and bakery shops in several places in the Cotswolds.

They are well recommended for Afternoon Tea of simply for patisseries and coffee to take away.

If you are looking for a nice place to have tea or even a quick lunch when visiting Burford or Stow-on-the-Wold, Huffkins is definitely the place to go. Both shops are within 15 minutes from Bruern Cottages.
