With endless quiet country lanes and picturesque towns and villages you have countless places to explore while experiencing it on two wheels.
Our eBikes make cycling and exploring the Cotswolds accessible to a range of fitness levels. Whether you want a leisurely cycle or a more energetic day out, they can give you that extra helping hand when the going gets tough.
The eBikes are available to hire from 14 years and above. They are available daily to hire from the office or can be pre book for you stay. (Subject to availability)

Horse riding at Bourton Vale Equestrian Centre
Horse riding lessons or “tourist hacks” for everyone, from complete beginners to the more advanced. Offering scenic rides around the picturesque villages of Lower and Upper Slaughter.
Tuition is available from highly qualified approved instructors with facilities including an outdoor arena, grass field, set of showjumps and beautiful hacking.
The Wychwood Golf Course
Offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside and the Wychwood woodlands. The Wychwood boasts one of the region’s outstanding venues for golf, weddings, business meetings and casual dining.
Oxfordshire Shooting School
Based in the heart of rural Oxfordshire though still easily accessible via major roads, the Oxfordshire shooting School is one of the premier shooting facilities in the county, with its superb facilities, exceptional value and impeccable service for all shooting abilities.
They are able to cater for both advanced shooters requiring practice before a big day or equally introducing people to the sport and teaching novices how to shoot.
Cotswold Riding at Durham Farm
Being based in one of the most beautiful areas of The Cotswolds their hacking out is outstanding. Their experienced team regularly ride out on planned routes and are happy to escort you along one of the many wonderful bridleways or woodland trails.
All of the instructors are experienced, qualified and friendly. They also like to ensure you are progressing at a reasonable pace and will not attempt to hold you back.
Cotswold Clay Club
The Cotswold Clay Club and Shooting School is located in the heart of the beautiful Cotswold Countryside, only 20 minutes from Bruern Cottages.
Run by Nick Phillips-Holt, The Cotswold Clay club is open everyday to everyone from novices, to experienced shots and also offer shooting experiences. You will always be given a warm welcome, The Cotswold Clay Club and Shooting School offers one of the friendliest and most relaxed clay pigeon shooting venues in the Cotswolds.
Head 4 Heights
Head down to the Cotswold water park where you can visit the Head 4 Heights activity centre, getting the chance to tackle an exhilarating range of climbing, jumping and swinging activities all in complete safety.
With seven awesome high adventured activities including the stairway to heaven and leap of faith you’ll never run out of adrenaline fueled activities to give you an action packed day.

The Cotswold water park and lakes are a great place to be able to enjoy a range of water activities without being in a coastal area. With more than 150 lakes spread over forty square miles, there is something for everyone.

Cotswold Archery
All abilities welcome to enjoy this ancient and rewarding Olympic sport, under the guidance of a fully qualified archery coach and experienced archers (age 8 years +).
