Bruern Cottages provides a hospitable welcome, comfort and amenities for all ages
This return visit to Bruern Cottages was for 6 nights over Christmas 2022.As a couple we stayed in Cope Cottage. There is a large bedroom with a very comfortable double bed.
The bathroom is attached to the bedroom and has a good shower over a full size bath. There is a spacious lounge/dining room, lined with multiple shelves containing books for all tastes. The hearth is provisioned with requirements for a log fire. A large , beautifully decorated Christmas tree in the lounge was a lovely surprise.
There is an amazing attention to detail throughout the Cottage, including the very well equipped kitchen. There was a starter pack of well selected basic provisions . Car parking was available right outside the front door. The Cottage was spotlessly clean on our arrival.
Our family – 4 adults and six grand children, stayed in Weir House. This was very spacious – no problem sitting 12 around the table for Christmas dinner. Weir was also very well equipped . It was well furnished and very comfortable, with an interesting collection of eclectic pictures on the walls.
The use of bicycles for all ages and sizes was a bonus. The swimming pool and games room were well used by the family.
There is an abundance of walks around the Cottages, most of which are dog friendly.
In summary we had a wonderful family Christmas and we all look forward to coming back again to Bruern
