Birthday celebrations
Ten of my family stayed at Weir House, Bruern cottages, in mid April. Our party included a 5 month old baby, toddler and an 89 year old great granny.
The house was perfect.
Bedrooms were private, quiet and super comfortable with wonderful bed linen.
We enjoyed the large and very well equipped kitchen Bruern’s Estate Office recommended the wonderful Charlotte, who come and cooked up an amazing birthday feast, canapés etc for my birthday dinner.
The house suits all ages. Peace and quiet to disappear from family noise if you so wished or you could be a part of all the action if you so desired. Our 3 year old loved the children’s house and toys that were provided.
We enjoyed the beautiful sitting room and made use of the logs provided for have roaring fires in the evening.
We found the gardens surrounding the house to be particularly lovely and spent sunny afternoons enjoying all the wonderful flowers and peace.
All the family used the beautiful swimming pool, minutes away from the house and also the SPA. The two therapists were given a particular ‘thumbs up’ by all members of the family for their wonderful treatments . I haven’t heard them sound so impressed before !
We all didn’t want to leave and we will definitely be returning.
Weir House and the Bruern Estate exceeded our expectations.
