A cut above the rest!
Wow! Stayed in the beautiful Saratoga for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
The kitchen was so well kitted out that, had I wanted to do so, I could have cooked up a 5 course meal – even had an espresso machine and hand mixer plus some very sharp knifes (sadly I found out just how sharp when cutting the gorgeous fresh loaf left for us in the welcome pack. Our stay was made even more romantic because of the gorgeous log fire, four poster bed and beautiful bathroom. We were also able to eat out in Chipping Norton at some lovely local pubs. The facilities at Breurn Cottages are very good – including a small but clean pool and gym plus a games room with pool, table tennis and table top football. Croquet was available on the lawn with tea and cake part of the welcome pack. We have been to many self catering accommodations both in the UK and abroad. I can safely say – this was a cut above the rest in every aspect bar one – the internet was rubbish, but this didn’t bother us as we were there to get away from it all! . Every other little detail, including flowers and champagne was just perfect. Can’t wait to revisit.
