Cotswold Cheese Rolling

The famous Cheese Rolling takes place each spring at Cooper’s Hill, just a short drive from Bruern. Dating back hundreds of years, this unique Cotswolds tradition sees competitors chase a 9lb wheel of Double Gloucester cheese down the steep hillside, with races taking place throughout the afternoon.

It’s a wonderfully eccentric event and a must-see for anyone looking to experience one of the Cotswolds’ most unusual traditions.
