It's no good staying in a lovely place like Bruern if you still have to drudge. We want everyone to have a wonderful holiday, so we have thought up an idea or two to give you a break. You can't face clearing up after the children/your husband/your wife one more time? Ring Fran ahead of time and ask for our housekeeping service. The cottage will be immaculate, you will be in a good mood and everyone will be happy.

The back of your neck is so tense the idea of relaxing is laughable? Book a treatment in our stunning new spa, where our  qualified beauty therapist will massage you and give you treatments until you are soothed into a paradisical state of bliss, all cares forgotton.

While you are having your delicious massage, you do not wish to hear the sound of children up to no good. Ring Little Angels (babysitting service) who we recommend Frances can give you the number.   But let us know well ahead, because they are in terrific demand. Just as you might not want to spend your holiday tidying up after your nearest and dearest, you might also not relish the prospect of spending it cooking for them either.

You can cut down on time in the kitchen by ordering frozen food by Ken and Nicky, Bruern Holiday Cottages'  brilliant chefs. Our prepared food has been rated ten out of ten by our guests. It really does taste home-cooked and delicious. There are vegetarian options and dishes aimed at children (which everyone likes), starters, casseroles and luscious puddings.

You can also make entertaining a breeze by asking Ken to come in and cook for you. He has done any number of dinner parties at the holiday cottages, several birthday parties and a christening party for 30.
